12x16 oil on hard board
Today's just off the easel is this gem of a still life. These items represent the growing season here in Alaska. Although the season is short it is full of sunlight all day and night. Don't you wish you could come here and enjoy our summer? It last us twice as long!

12 x 16 oil on hard board

Off the easel! This little gem is of a flooded wet land area near my home in AK. I captured the area before it dried up. Fleeting beauty, a real secret lake.

16x20 oil on canvas

This is a painting using old world techniques. I love the drama and mood that the painting conveys. Inspired by Sidney Laurence and my good friend and art instructor Carl Abken. I truly love the poetry that comes from this painting.

I always considered myself a a painter of poetry and this technique is wonderful for that.
Just off the easel!
